Air Fryer Peaches With Oat Crumble Recipe

Air Fryer Peaches With Oat Crumble

These guys are hot flippin’ damns!!! Air fried peach crumbles are a dessert that screams summer. Air-frying fruits has become a new obsession for me lately, and this recipe makes a quick, healthy dessert for entertaining. Using a simple oat crumble as the topping, peach halves are air fried until soft and tender with a crunchy crumbly topping.

The recipes require only a few ingredients, and every time they turn out fantastic! Topping mine with yogurt for breakfast or ice cream for dessert is my favorite way to eat them. It doesn’t matter how you top off these peaches, they’re going to be delicious!

This method is so exciting for me to share with you, so let’s jump right in, shall we?

Ingredients

  • Ripe yellow peaches (Any type will do)
  • Rolled Oats – If you prefer chunky texture, rolled oats are the best choice. For gluten-free oats, you can substitute quinoa flakes.
  • Flour of choice – Crumb toppings are created with just half a cup of either wholemeal spelt flour or wholemeal oat flour.
  • Maple syrup – Honey or maple syrup should be 100% pure.
  • Coconut oil – The crumble can be made with coconut, avocado or unsalted butter.
  • Cinnamon + vanilla extract
  • Salt

How To Make the Ultimate Air Fryer Peaches

  • Peach pits should be removed after the fruit has been cut in half and carefully removed. Slice the peach in half, and place it cut-side up on a piece of baking paper. Prepare each by dusting it with cinnamon and setting it aside.

  • A cinnamon oat mixture can be created by mixing the oats, cinnamon, vanilla, oil and maple syrup together.
  • The topping should be added evenly: divide the oat topping among the peaches.

  • To cook the peaches, place them on baking paper in an air fryer basket and cook them at 160C/320F for 15-20 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

  • Servings can be topped with ice cream or yoghurt, if desired.

Filling variations:

  • Adding candied ginger will enhance the flavor.
  • Slivered almonds, walnuts, or pecans can be added.
  • Rather than using cinnamon, use pumpkin spice.

Storing and Reheating

  • To Store: You can store them in the refrigerator in a container for up to three days.
  • To Reheat: One minute in the microwave is all it takes to prepare one of your air fried peaches.
  • The dish can be prepared up to two days in advance. Although these are best fresh, they can be made ahead and then warmed up at 350F for 4-5 minutes.

Is it possible to substitute peaches for pears?

Yes, I agree! The same recipe can be followed, but nectarines, apricots, plums and apples can be substituted.

Are these air-fried peaches suitable for breakfast?

Considering they’re loaded with nutrients (hello peaches and oats), leftovers are perfect for breakfast. These peach crumbles would be a great addition to any brunch or breakfast menu. You can add more probiotics, healthy fats, and protein to each plate by adding yoghurt and chopped nuts.

Air Fryer Fingerling Potatoes with Herb Tahini

Air Fryer Fingerling Potatoes with Herb Tahini

The outside of these air fryer potatoes is crispy, but the inside is fluffy and tender. Served with a delicious green tahini sauce, this side dish is easy to make, healthy, and gluten-free.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

Fingerling Potatoes

  • 500g/ 1.1lbs fingerling (kipfler) potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt + Pepper to taste

Herb Tahini Sauce

  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup packed mint leaves
  • Juice of 1–2 lemons
  • 1/2 cup packed parsley or coriander (cilantro) leaves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt + Pepper to taste

Instructions

Make a long cut in the fingerling potatoes by washing and slicing them in half lengthwise. Check for any black spots and remove them.

Add the potatoes, oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to a large mixing bowl and stir well.

The potatoes should be added to the air fryer basket and fried at 180C/ for about 15-18 minutes, until crispy.

While that's happening, mix all of the ingredients for the herb tahini dressing in a small food processor or blender. For smoother results, blend for at least 30 seconds. To make the dressing runnier, add more water if necessary.

Serve the fingerling potatoes with the tahini sauce on top. You may garnish with sesame seeds and more black pepper if you wish. Extra tahini sauce should be served on the side for dipping.
