Air Fryer Fingerling Potatoes with Herb Tahini

Potato obsession has officially taken over my life. They have to be eaten every single day for me to not go crazy. Here’s the ultimate way to make fingerling potatoes using an air fryer. This is such an easy, quick, healthy, and super crispy recipe!

Isn’t it great that this recipe only takes 20-25 minutes to make? An air fryer makes roasting a lot faster! Although I usually eat them plain, this tahini herb dressing is so delicious that I thought I would mix things up a bit!

This simple dish gets a massive boost of flavor from the tahini dressing, as well as some healthy fats. They go perfectly with a variety of meats or side dishes, or you can even make them in a batch to snack on. Eating leftovers cold straight from the fridge is one of my favorite things to do.

What are fingerling potatoes?

A fingerling (also known as a kipfler potato) is an elongated small potato typically measuring about a finger in length.

The skin of these fruits is thin and doesn’t need to be peeled. Air-frying these potatoes doesn’t take long and they are always crispy after roasting. Served soft and buttery, they have a mild flavor that is very pleasant to taste.

Alternatively, you can cut them in half and roast them whole. These are perfect for finger food – pick them up, dip them in a sauce, and enjoy!

Storage Tips

When fingerling potatoes are air-fried, they taste best when they are fresh and crispy.  A sealed airtight container in the refrigerator is sufficient for storing leftovers for about 3-4 days.

During the reheating process, heat the potatoes gently at 180°C/ 360°F for 1-2 minutes. If you prefer, you can microwave the potatoes, but they won’t keep their crispy texture.
